Sundridge & District Medical Centre is not accepting new patients

The Sundridge & District Medical Centre (SDMC) is not currently accepting new patients because of a physician vacancy. The clinic is working hard to recruit a new physician, but recruiting in rural communities continues to be very challenging.

How SDMC will accept new patients

• SDMC does not keep a separate local waiting list.
• When the clinic is able to take new patients, it will notify Health Care Connect and accept patients from the provincial wait list.
• Please do not call SDMC to ask for an appointment or to be added to a waiting list. Contacting the clinic directly will not add you to its patient roster or to any wait list.
• Registering with Health Care Connect is the only way to be considered for SDMC when it begins accepting patients.

If you call Health Care Connect, they will let you know that SDMC is not currently accepting patients. Registering still places you on the provincial wait list so you can be matched with a provider when one becomes available.
